About Us

Realizing how people now want to view entertaining and informative video content, Enough Gun pulled together the best African hunting videos and shows into a streaming platform so you can watch anytime on any internet-connected device. The day of bulky VHS tapes and easily damaged DVDs is gone, you’re no longer confined to your couch to watch exciting African hunts.

Enough Gun’s subscription-based streaming platform was conceived by longtime African hunter and outdoor journalist Cameron Hopkins (editor-in-chief American Handgunner, GUNS Magazine and Shooting Industry and contributing author to Petersen’s Hunting, Sports Afield, Safari Magazine and American Hunter among others). Cameron was the executive producer of the original SureFire’s Tracks Across Africa where he worked closely with his old friend Craig Boddington and producers Tim Danklef and Dave Fulson. Cameron appeared on several episodes but mostly focused on the show’s sponsors and television airtime deals.

Like most hunters, Cameron watched traditional African hunting videos and DVDs but he wanted to be able to watch on his laptop and smart phone. While some content is available online, no one had pulled all the best African hunting content together. Thus was born the idea to start Enough Gun.

As you may have guessed, the name is derived from one of the greatest of all African safari books, Robert Ruark’s compilation of his thrilling magazine stories “Use Enough Gun.”

Today Cameron is also producing safari hunting videos with Enough Gun Productions, which are among the many titles available for subscribers to this “best of the best” library of African safari hunting streaming content.
