Bongo and Sitatunga With The Pygmies
It doesn’t get any more Tarzan than hunting Bongo in the tropical rain forest! And hunting the elusive orange and white striped spiral horn antelope with Pygmy trackers and the legendary French PH Alain Lefol is even more exciting!
Assisted by PH Jean Christophe Lefol, Alain guides Sportsmen On Film producer Ken Wilson into the matted wet tangle of thick vegetation called “finger forest” in the exotic and often dangerous country of CAR. There, near the Sangha River in southwestern CAR, the pair set out after the grand prize of the spiral horns, Bongo.
The Pygmy trackers include Mekama, Mekatijo, Lipoupa and Gombo, loingtime trackers for the legendary French professional hunter. Ken successfully takes a great Bongo on-camera and in so doing, takes you deep into the rain forest to see what it’s really like.
